Class Description
I structure my classes around the Ashtanga Primary Series, as taught by K. Pattabhi Jois (1915 - 2009). The Primary Series follows a specific sequence of yoga postures, beginning with Surya Namskar A & B (Sun Salutations), followed by a standing series, seated postures, inversions and finishing with Savasana (relaxation). Variation in postures will be provided from class to class, within the context of the traditional sequence. Classes are appropriate for various levels as I provide modifications and options for all postures & vinyasa sequences.
